Thoughts Shared by my good friend @virg1877 following her three concerts this past weekend
I spoke to Virg as she drove home from K-fest last night after attending the three opening concerts. As you can imagine, she was happy and excited and her mind was mush. She shared some great info that I know you want to hear. Here is some of it!
At K-fest, they continually announced that Adam Lambert was coming up. The crowd which was mostly young people cheered loudly every time. There were approximately 10,000 people who attended the concert.
The performers were dropped off very close to where Virg was standing. They came out of SUVs and most were accompanied by one body guard. When Adam was dropped off at the stage, he was in a white stretch limousine. He was surrounded by a large number of security guards, possibly about 15. Even Train did not get this treatment!

Adam arrived onstage and all the cameras came out. No one got this kind of attention. There were lots of teenagers in the audience and lots of pushing and shoving trying to get closer to him.
During his set, people were singing along, especially during WWFM and IIHY. Lots of screaming his name.. even the little kids in the audience. One father was overheard to say that he had never seen Adam live before and that he was mesmerized by the man. (we know!)
The crowd loved Adam and he was smiling and loose and having lots of fun.
Sayerville was about 2000 people in one huge mosh pit. There was barely room to stand… couldn’t even move your elbows. Adam was extremely loose compared to the performance in Wilkes-Barre. He was happy, dancing and laughing. There was lots of cheering for him during the performance. The screaming for Adam was intense and very different that at WB. BTW, Allison and Orianthi were embraced and there was lots of screaming and dancing and singing during their sets.
The concert in Sayerville started at 8:00PM.. At 1:00 in the afternoon there were more than 200 people standing in line in 90 degree weather. A security guard who had worked for the venue for many years said that usually for a sold-out concert, 200 people would be in line a couple of hours before it started. In all the years he had been there, he had never seen anything like this crowd response for Adam Lambert!

And then, finally, the man of the hour. Every time Adam Lambert’s name was mentioned, the crowd screamed. And it didn’t matter if you were by the stage or standing in line for ice cream.
“I’m a huge fan of ‘American Idol.’ I’ve watched every season,” said Danielle Stonner, 25, from Wappingers Falls. “I like how he’s not scared to express himself and be who he is. What’s his new song? ‘Whataya Want From Me?’ I can’t wait for him to play that!”
Lambert, the concert’s headliner, came on around 6:15 p.m. and opened with “Music Again.”
“OK, ladies and gentlemen, it’s time to get sexy,” he said before going into the song “Fever” and then followed up with Stonner’s anticipated song, “Whataya Want From Me.”

My thoughts on Meeting Monte Pittman and Longineu Parsons and Camilla Grey
Monte is a gentleman. Actually, all the boys in the band are so nice and so pleasant and so adorable. Adam has attracted the perfect group of people as we all know, and I was just beside myself having a brief chance to talk to them.

The babies are good and @lisa_pittman is posting pictures of them regularly. Monte is so excited about the tour and knows that its going to be very different from anything we have seen so far. His energy is laid back and calm and he is so sweet. I told him about the bio I wrote for him and he thanks me and says some nice things about it.
Longineu is also very sweet. I am mesmerized by his tattoos and all the pictures on his arms. He is fairly quiet and so I dont intrude on his space or tell him about the biography I wrote for him. Save that for another concert. Great energy and he did his best to make everyone happy. Such a nice man!
Cam was also so beautiful and petite and happy to take pictures with us all. Another sweetheart!
Meeting Tommy Joe Ratliff
You all know I am a big Tommy fan. But, I was not prepared for my reaction to him. Tommy came to the bus and told us he would be out in a few minutes and would take pictures and sign autographs. Of course, he is beautiful. His hair is bleached a colour that looks quite grey and I guess thats for the lighting on the tour. He comes out and we all get our pictures with him. He chats easily and like the others, sweet! He is signing an autograph and I ask him if he has seen the biography page I wrote for him on adamquotedaily. He looks up at me and I get a smile and a trip into those beautiful eyes and he says yes it was great.
That look is now permanently etched into my brain. I will never forget it! It’s kind of haunting me these days. Every picture I see of Tommy reminds me of the look and the feeling.
I ask Tommy if he knows that I have a daily corner about him on the blog and he doesn’t know. I tell him that its there because so many fans search for him by name that i need to have daily information and pictures of him. I tell him I will tweet the links to him and he smiles and thanks me again.
After this TJR experience, I think it has been for the best that I haven’t met Adam Lambert. If Tommy Joe Ratliff can etch permanently in my brain, I’m not sure if I will have a brain left if I make eye contact with Adam. Do you lucky ones who have met him have anything to share to help us less lucky guys prepare for the day?

Boohoo- i had about 20 amazing new pictures here from all three concerts and my post was finished and it disappeared!
I will add the pictures back in later when I can think again! Even the best job in the world has its frustrations. Headache! Sorry!!
