I’ve been talking about chakras since I first heard Adam’s voice.  Here is a great description by Skylar!

“I got a last minute ticket to the Foxwoods concert yesterday from Larchcat and got to see my first live Adam performance! Thank you Larchcat!!!
His voice is simply unreal. Videos and or TV simply cannot catch the profound effect it has live. I studied accoustical architecture and the walls in good venues are made to reverb the different vibrating frequencies of the notes directly into the audience. Large dimension panels of wood send back low notes with large diameter frequencies and smaller dimension surfaces, right down to tiny textured granules, send back the tiny, high frequency vibrations.

 High notes, as most of us know just by feeling it, literally send tiny little vibrating massages in the body and brain and low notes can be better than deep tissue swedish massage. Eastern studies talk about each chakra responding to different vibratory frequencies. Deep notes vibrating our deepest chakra in the pelvis (feels very sexual) and the highest notes massaging higher thinking (neurons, synapses, etc.) in the frontal cortext.

 I love that some people consider the whole chakra stuff as if it is wierd eastern voodoo. There is a beautiful science behind it. Anyway, in a good theater you are literally being vibrated at different frequencies. This may sound crude but there is simply nothing like being vibrated by Adams voice.

 I have never, ever heard anything that comes remotely close to his ability. Listening is an incredible full body pleasure and he takes us on truly sublime rides. I was blown away. By the time you leave the venue your chakras have all been tuned and you literally walk away vibrating beautiful, positive Adam energy.”

 And during Fever, when Adam put his leg up & thrust…let me tell you…that was right in front of me & I am surprised I didnt faint! I was there with my son & the scream I let loose…lol…my son looked at me & just laughed at me. lol

Adam Lambert brings glam-rock show to Borgata 

ATLANTIC CITY — Glam rock is alive and well, and Adam Lambert is loving every campy, over-the-top second of it. 

Hitting the stage dressed like a trippy circus ringmaster and singing his hit “Voodoo,” Lambert, the Season 8 runner-up of “American Idol,” kicked off the Atlantic City portion of his “Glam Nation” tour with a non-stop, one-hour set Saturday night at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa. 

The show, of course, brought out the expected, and sometimes rabid, Idol worshippers — the fans who scream at the first strum of the guitar for Lambert’s current radio hit “Whataya Want From Me.” 

“Hello!” Lambert exclaimed to the screaming crowd after his opening number. “Welcome to New Jersey. Wow!” 

Lambert may have ultimately taken second place on the show (the “Idol” title ended up going to singer Kris Allen — and some fans never quite got over it), but Lambert has taken the opportunity second place affords and run with it. Lambert live, as evidenced Saturday, is an experience for the fan, complete with laser lights, a posse of dancers and multiple costume changes that would make Boy George proud. 

Luckily, the substance matched the style. 

Lambert’s range was on full display in ballads like “Soaked,” and he threw in a few acoustic versions of songs for good measure. Fun pop stylings like “Music Again” — a campy dance number reminiscent of another over-the-top band, The Darkness — kept the show moving at a good pace.

The casino gave out wristbands to the first Two hundred people in attendance.  They are  sitting inside just outside the soundcheck although they cannot hear anything.  Longineu, Monte, Orianthi have said hello.  There is a  bar, bathrooms and security is allowing people to leave and come back into their place in the line. Huge casino hallway so its very comfortable.  The venue holds about 3000 general admission tickets.

I’m working on the final concert reviews from both Toronto and Foxwoods.  Almost done and waiting for the OK to post incredible pictures taken by an amazing lady.   Both are in the top ten form which I so enjoy.  Look for them hopefully by the end of the weekend!  Such an incredible trip to Foxwoods!  Loved meeting so many Adam fans.

Adam Lambert Makes Sure that Glam Nation Tour Bends to Fit the Audience

Adam Lambert Glam Nation Tour is flexible enough to be sure that Adam entertains everyone in his audience. It seems that Adam Lambert’s performances are a reflection of what he feels off of the audience before him and he gives them what they want every time. 

As Adam Lambert said, “Being on stage, when you’re really in the right element of it, it’s like a mirror that happens. And whatever the audience is throwing at you, you kind of reflect, and vice versa. You throw something into the audience, and they reflect it. There’s an exchange that happens.” 

And Adam Lambert seems to have mastered that exchange with his audiences, even though he had a bit of anxiety at first. Adam recently told ET Online, “When I was putting together this show there was a little bit of pressure and I was a little nervous about it and didn’t know what to think. In a recent show Adam Lambert performed at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods and he brought all the Broadway pomp and melodrama with him as he hit that big stage. Adam performed for just over an hour and every minute of this performance was magical and staged to entertain.

Story of Adam Inspiration from @Glambert4Everxx 

 

Adam Lambert has changed myself & my life in an excessive amount of ways that I can’t even describe. He inspires me to always be myself and to not worry about what people think of me. Hiding who you really are doesn’t get you far in life. Be who you really are, and don’t be another person. 

 He has taught me to take more risks, and don’t be afraid to do something because other people might not like it. He has also taught me that money, fame, & fortune all doesn’t matter if your not connecting; which is what Adam and his Glam Nation tour is all about. He has taught me to accept peoples differences, and be the best person you can possibly be. 

 I’ve gone through so much this year where it came to the point that I didn’t even know what to do anymore. Adam has stopped me from making wrong decisions, and to keep going because everything will be alright, and it will get better. Everytime you’re depressed, then you decrease 60% of happiness that you can never gain back. Try to be as happy as much as you can because lifes too short for sadness. 

 He has such a free, beautiful spirit that no one can match. He has the most beautiful personality and looks that comes once in a lifetime, and no one could replace them. How can he be real? He has everything, and I mean EVERYTHING. Every night when he does a concert, he does it perfectly. He brings so much charisma to the stage, and his vocals are brilliant! He has an outstanding range that’s very rare for a person to have. He’s taught me to not care what people think. Looks don’t mean anything if you’re not a nice person on the inside which is why I love Adam for his personality more then anything. 

 He always makes me laugh and smile whenever I’m depressed, and he always makes me feel happy. He brought so much life out of me this whole year. People tell me they’ve never seen me act so crazy and silly before. I’ve learned to always stick to my comfort zone. If people have a problem with something about you, then obviously that’s their problem, not yours. It’s cool to be different, and diversity is awesome! 

 Always be comfortable in your own skin, and don’t try to be something your not. Just believe, and never give up on your dreams. You can do anything you want if you set your mind to it. 

Adam means the whole world to me, and I love him with all my heart. He inspires me so much, and I love everything about him. He is my everything. I love you Adam Mitchel Lambert forever! You inspire, and I hope you realize this someday. You are truly AMAZING! Thank you so much for existing and coming into my life. ♥♥

Update from the Concert

I have now seen Adam seven times in person.  This was the most incredible performance I have ever seen live or online.  As I have said before, I cannot imagine him being any better ever… But he always ups it!   Adam’s vocals were perfection. 

Soaked and Whole Lotta Love were incredible.  There will be videos soon and I cannot imagine they will do Adam’s performances justice.  What a voice, what a great smile, what great energy he displayed!

Tommy action was not like in New York but there were a few sweet incidents that showed how beautifully playful they are.. You’ll see them soon and you will smile!

Everyone was amazed… everyone was stunned.  I’m off to the bar to dance and sing and have fun with all the great fans.  Met so many!

I will be back on in a couple of hours to post some videos!

Adam Lambert: ‘No more tour nerves’  

Adam Lambert has said that any nerves he had about his current tour are gone and he cannot wait to share the show with fans.  

The ‘If I Had You’ star embarked on his ‘Glam Nation Tour’ earlier this month, which features support from Allison Iraheta and Orianthi.  

Speaking to ET Online, he said: “When I was putting together this show there was a little bit of pressure and I was a little nervous about it and didn’t know what to think.  

“We’re ten shows in… and the nerves are all gone. Now it’s more excitement and I can’t wait to show this to everybody and share this with my fans. Obviously the music comes first and I wanted to feature the music on this album in a new light.”  

He continued to say that he thinks his production – which is inspired by turn of the century New Orleans – contains ”a really great balance of things that have their edginess and sexiness” but are done in a way that won’t alienate the audience.  

Lambert added that he is now looking forward to touring the rest of the country and that it is “exciting to see the diversity of the crowd” at each venue.

On the Adam Lambert Fan Page on Facebook, there is this new photo of Adam last night at the Nokia Theatre in New York City’s Times Square sharing what one fan describes as a “kiss-lick” with his cute bass player Tommy Joe Ratliff!  

This occurred during a major stop on the Glam Nation Tour which is Adam’s first solo tour.

Hi friends! 

Today is the day of the Wham Bam Concert in Toronto and I am attending with a whole bunch of friends and family.  At 1:00, we are meeting other Adam fans at a restaurant in the venue and then we will be spending the entire day listening to other artists and hanging out. 

Adam and the Band are onstage at 9:00PM tonight to close the concert, so needless to say… the  anticipation and build-up will be incredible! 

I have two batteries for my Blackberry and will be tweeting Adam related news all day long.  I’m going save the second battery for Adam’s performance so stay tuned.  

So excited to be seeing HRH and the boys for the sixth time today… Geez, I wanna give that boy a big hug!

Adam Lambert Talks About New Video & Tour In Conference Call

He does engage in positive thinking to manifest his dreams. And it worked! Adam reacted to the panic of him shaving part of his hair. He thought it was hilarious and not newsworthy. He sees it as “air-conditioning” The show is very theatrical. There are 4 dancers, costume changes, definitely glam! Adam said there will be more dates announced. They are waiting for the venues to finalize. Some dates also in Asia & Europe Adam was asked if he knows Train. He’s “not necessarily a fan, but has nothing against them” He has lowered the key of some songs to save his voice and be at his best for every show. He worked with a vocal coach to do this. “If I Had You” reflects where he is personally & professionally right now. Adam said Neil was looking for a job and Adam said they needed a production assistant on the tour, so they hired him Adam said there was a socio-political plan to the If I Had You video. Age, sex, religion, etc doesn’t matter. Everyone can party together. He was asked how he chooses which song for the encore. It’s decided at the moment! But it’s probably going to be both now. He’s excited to see a wide range of demographics in the audiences. A mix of ages and men and women.Broader ethnicity cross-section Adam is not fond of lip-synching and he won’t be doing it. He prefers more vocally driven As far as type of venue, he prefers the theaters, which is what he is used to. He also likes architecture and decor of them. Over the years he has met a lot of incredible people that are part of “gypsy groups” in LA and wanted to bring them into the IIHY video. The Common Grounds show will not be the full show – it will be a festival show…The “festival” shows are usually shorter, so won’t be the full glamnation show Can’t Let You Go hasn’t been released in the US and there is only “so much time” in the show, so he isn’t doing it. Live cd of Glamnation? It has been discussed, but they don’t really know The set includes stairs, lasers, costumes. Rock and roll punk type theme. Turn of the century New Orleans feel The vibe from the crowd can affect how “frisky” he is in each performance. It also depends a lot on his mood at the time. Adam takes something away from each city. The vibe in the audience is different every night. And he does look at the people in the crowd. His current make-up artist/hair stylist is an old friend from LA. He is also working with Skingraft for fashion, who he also knew before Adam believes that if you have success in your life, you should spread it around. So he tries to help his friends out. Adam will perform Whataya Want From Me on Much Music Awards since that’s the vid nominated.

Lambert was able to successfully leapfrog styles, from glam-pop and theatre rock, his boundless instrument unifying the material. Best were the bawdy pop throwdowns ”Surefire Winners” (where he brags his baby clothes were made of leather and lace) and “Strut,” as well as the celebratory schlock rock of “Music Again.” “If I Had U,” accompanied by an armageddon of lasers, closed the set, while a mashup of a sped-up “Mad World” and a slowed-down “Whole Lotta Love” acted as the encore. Lambert’s vocals were the focus, and they rarely ever wavered, although his band could have used more punch (man, the things he could do with a string section!). In addition, his conceptualization of the production deserves more than a plain backdrop and a screen projector. Still, Lambert is on the right path, although it’s borderline criminal for a show called “Glam Nation” to not employ the use of a glitter confetti canon. That’s a no-brainer, right?

Adam: It’s going to be ‘Whataya Want From Me’ — I was nominated for a music video award for that song, so I’m going to be performing that.

How do you choose your Glam Nation encore? Do you just wake up every morning and pick, or is it something you decide on in the moment?

We kind of just decide in the moment. We usually just go onstage and look at the band and say ‘what do you think’? (Laughs.) Although it might start becoming more and more of routine where we do both ['Mad World' and 'Whole Lotta Love'].

So I asked for a favour yesterday and so many of you responded!  I’m asking another.  I’m going to be a bit pressed for time for the next week.  I have an Adam friend who just arrived to stay with me for four days and attend the Wham Bam performance on Saturday. She has not been to Toronto before and I’m planning to show her a great time!

Yeah I was involved. We did it in the UK because I think they’re (the manufacturers) are based there. I had a lot to say about it. I was like ‘nope I don’t want to use that picture, I want to use that picture. Can we make this more green? Can we make this more blue? Can we change that lettering?’ People get surprised at how involved I get (laughs) in everything.
