I have put together this introduction to Adam Lambert to help new fans and anyone interested, learn about his awesomeness.
Hopefully by the time you work through this page, you will understand why so many of us adore Adam and believe that he is well on his way to Global Superstardom.

Adam Mitchel Lambert was born January 29, 1982 in Indianapolis, Indiana. His mother Leila worked as a dental hygienist and interior decorator and his Father, Ebert is a program manager for Novatel Wireless.
He has a younger brother Neil who plays the piano and writes.
Adam’s family moved to California shortly after his birth and he was raised in Rancho Peñasquitos in northeastern San Diego. He has ginger coloured hair naturally and is covered with freckles.

Adam Lambert has been acting since he was about ten years old. He performed in many different musical shows including Fiddler on the Roof, Hair (European tour), Brigadoon and The Ten Commandments.
From December 2006 to May 2007, Lambert was lead singer for rock band The Citizen Vein along with his present guitarist, Monte Pittman.
From 2004 until American Idol, Adam was a frequent performer at the Upright Cabaret and the Zodiac Show.

From 2005-2008 and up until he auditioned for American Idol, Adam performed as the understudy for the role of Fiyero, in the national tour and Los Angeles productions of Wicked.
Adam was a contestant on the eighth season of American Idol (2009) and auditioned in San Francisco. It was his final year to try out because of his age and he took a calculated risk, quitting his steady job performing in Wicked in order to be considered.
On May 20, 2009, Adam came in second as the runner-up on American Idol.
Memorable performances include Adam singing with Kiss and also with Queen on the finale.

Adam is extremely articulate, intelligent and lovable. His fans adore hearing him speak in his many interviews which are always interesting because Adam loves to talk.
He manages to entertain with his quick wit, insight and big heart.

Mother’s Day Interview:
Adam performed with the top 10 American Idol finalists on the Idol Tour during the summer of 2009.
His set of five songs included Whole Lotta Love, Starlight, Mad World, Slow Ride (a duet with Allison Iraheta) and a Bowie Medley

Adam recorded the song “ Time for Miracles” for the disaster movie ” 2012″. It was his first post Idol release.
With respect to Adam’s performance, Brian May of the legendary Rock Group” Queen” said:
“I have to say I was completely blown away … it’s truly sensational. In fact it’s so obviously a number one smash, any bookie would be mad to take bets on it.
I am not kidding. I’m not easily moved to jelly by male vocalists … but Adam’s voice reaches out with sensitivity, depth, maturity, and awesome range and power which will make jaws drop all around the world.
Its an awesome performance. No doubt about it. The world of Rock has a bright new star.”
The song is included on Adam’s album.
Adam’s first Album, For Your Entertainment, was released in November 2009, the day after his controversial closing performance at the American Music Awards show.
His performance was over the top and may have alienated some of his American Idol audience but he was certainly noticed around the world as a result .

Adam’s biggest hit from his first album is the song Whataya Want from Me, written by Pink. Here is the music video for this song:
After the release of his album, Adam performed his songs at several venues in the US and Canada.
A memorable performance was the encore at Fantasy Springs in February 2010, Acoustic Whole Lotta Love.
Adam also created an amazing music video including many of his friends for his third American single, If I Had You
Adam’s first solo tour, the GlamNation tour, began in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania on June 4, 2010.
It included more than 100 mostly sold-out dates in the US, Canada with an international leg including Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Japan and Europe. Here are three of the songs from his GlamNation tour set:
If I Had You
On December 6, 2010 Lambert released an acoustic EP, titled ”Acoustic Live” This is an incredible recording which allows the listener to appreciate the true beauty of Adam’s voice.

Adam has announced that he is will be starting work soon on his second album which is expected to be released in the fall of 2011.
Adam attended the Grammy Awards and was nominated for Best Performance Male for his song Whataya Want From Me.
