Last night, I had my Diva group to my home for an Adam information night.  There are eleven women and we meet monthly to talk about spiritual topics.  So, I showed them how spiritual following Adam Lambert can be!

Two of us are dedicated fans.  Three of them  like Adam.  The rest didn’t know too much. 

We spent three hours watching Adam.  Very interesting:

1) They all really connected to the IDOL videos… they quickly saw Adam’s incredible vocal ability and showmanship and how adorable he is.

2) Through the Oprah interview, they saw his authenticity, sweetness and how grounded he is.

3) They appreciated how much fun attending his live show could be!

4) Several of them love the song IIHY but did not know it was Adam’s song

5) The tour videos did not go over very well because of the noise … those are for fans!

We had a great time and I believe we have several new converts! 

Update:  I just received this letter of thanks from one of the ladies attending last night.. ( And she’s ready to see a concert anytime!)

I am very inspired by your enthusiasm and joy when you speak of Adam and your love for his music and spirit. I will never see him the same again. And, I also will be able to see other young upcoming artists express themselves in unique and varied ways without judging them , as I was usually accustomed to doing. You have both allowed me to grow spiritually in seeing the spirit in everyone of these talented youth, and to understand that their sometimes drastic call for attention is just a facade which is only really artist expression and nothing scary or yucky.”
